Digital artist and author Britta Jakobs combines digital error messages with non-digital spatial photographs since 2025. She has has been taking architectural photos since 1993 and display error images since 2019. The contemplative collages create a field of tension for reflecting individual emotions and opens a visual dialogue on digital behavior, viewpoints and communication.

Britta Jakobs presents visual niches for dialogues, away from the opportunities and perceived threats, posed by digitalization and AI and questions the individual perception of the digital world as infallible, perfect and superior. Britta Jakobs works and lives with her husband in Berlin.

As an author, Britta Jakobs has been writing about her experiences from 30 years as a real estate agent in Berlin since 2025. Uplifting, emotional encounters meet quirky and humorous situations. Why a woman fell in love with a basement, why a family named their baby after the saleswoman and why a real estate agent is also a hairdresser are incredible and moving storys. The first volume will be published in 2026 and include some digital collages.
